Air India Urination Inciden

New delhi. In an Air India flight from Delhi to Bangkok, a passenger urinated on another passenger on Wednesday. According to sources, after this incident, Air India has informed the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA). In this case, Civil Aviation Minister K. Ram Mohan Naidu said that the ministry will take cognizance of this matter and will discuss it with the aviation company. He said during a program in Delhi that if any wrongdoing has happened then necessary action will be taken.

Such an incident happened on 26 November 2022

This incident reminds us of a case that happened about three years ago. On 26 November 2022, a passenger named Shankar Mishra urinated on an elderly woman traveling in business class on Air India flight AI-102 coming from New York to Delhi. This matter came into discussion when the woman complained to Air India and DGCA about a month later. The incident made serious headlines and Shankar Mishra was arrested in January 2023. Apart from this, Air India also faced charges of negligence and was also fined by the DGCA.

CEO's anger

In this case, Air India employees also had to bear the wrath of the company's CEO. He sent a mail to the employees stating that the way the matter was presented was very serious and any wrong activity should be dealt with properly. This mail came after DGCA had written a letter to Air India expressing its displeasure.
